SWB Landrover 1964
 restoration project

This landrover has been in the family for almost 20 years and we'll be sad to see it go , but its been waiting too long for restoration and we never seem to find the time.
It's been standing since 2003 .. but what can I say .. its a landrover and started when we put fresh fuel in through a brand new fuel pump (£20) . .

Many parts have been bought but never put on including front axle swivels (£150 ) , exhaust section, roof lining , all new front seats still in polythene wrappers (£195) and spot lights. Although they are "brand new" and never fitted they are 9 years old so may show some signs of age but no wear !
There is one bench seat in the back , the other side being taken up by a secured fitted tool box.
Tyres were new but have degraded due to standing for so long and need replacing.
New leaf springs & bushes were fitted when we got it 9 years ago, but it has been standing ever since so they have rusted.
It has a webber carb fitted and there is a spare spare zenith carb thrown in the back .
Unfortunately there is no battery on it and I'm reluctant to spend money on one just to sell it , so used the battery from my other car to start it.
The brakes don't work as the master cylinder has rotted through from the bottom.
Because of its present condition it MUST be trailered away and is not road legal .
There's no MOT .
Its registered as an historic vehicle so no tax to pay once you get it on the road.


Any inspection welcome by arrangement (as I work shifts) prior to end of auction .

Vehicle is kept in Dudley , DY1 area

Obviously this is collection only by trailer

I have listed and described everything to the best of my ability and knowledge.
Unfortunately I don't offer returns as this is a private auction.
Payment by Paypal  please within 3 days of the end of the auction or by cash on collection . Vehicle will not be released until funds are cleared .Please don't bid if you can't pay !
I would appreciate it if buyers with less than 10 feedback or poor feedback would contact me before bidding or bids will be removed.
