1994-2007 YAMAHA YZF600r  Thunder Cat OEM size is 530x108L O-ring chain, 15t Ft. Sprocket, 47t Rear Sprocket  (Same on US models and World models)
This kit is provided with all 520 size chain and sprocket components
 
For QUICK Acceleration gear ratio (Quick off the line, snappy roll on's, easier wheelies), use a 14t front sprocket and a 47t rear sprocket.  (These are the default sizes supplied with this kit... 14t (-1) and 47t (oem) )
  (the -1t front sprocket change is very versatile because you can change back to the stock size 15t with same chain)
   
For  FASTER TOP SPEED, and  LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's, use a 16t front sprocket, and a 47t rear sprocket.     
  the +1t front sprocket is a versatile change which can go back to OEM with a 15t and still use the same 108L chain. This ratio change will be slower off the line, but faster top speed with  lower top gear cruising RPM's.
 
Original Factory Supplied OEM size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration
 If you just want a lighter easier turning final drive components kit, but are using your entire gear box ratio as it is from Yamaha, then request OEM 15/47t sprocket sizes.
 
Teeth and Sizes Explained...
** A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket change.
** A -2t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +6t rear sprocket change (Very Extreme change)
** A -1t front and +2t rear combination is EXACTLY the same as a +5t rear only change with stock front sprocket.
** A 520 size chain is approx. 2mm narrower than a 525 chain, and 4mm narrower than a 530 chain. Less mass equals lighter weight equals easier to spin, but the ratio (teeth size) change makes the big difference. The sprocket width matches the chain width where it rides on the sprockets, thus a 520 chain must use 520 sprockets, and a 525 chain must use 525 sprockets, etc...
** RPE Motorcycle has chain and sprocket conversion kits available in 520 , 525 , and 530 sizes for most motorcycles.
** A larger rear sprocket number of teeth size requires a longer chain, however +1 or -1 tooth on the front sprocket only requires NO chain length change.
