Many of the products sold in our eBay store are designed specifically for the relief of chronic illness or disability and as such, may be purchased by those eligible, at a price that does not include VAT at the current rate. Please note that this applies to some but not all products.

What Do I Need to Do?

Millercare work with a government-backed scheme that means that it may be possible to pay 0% VAT on some of your products. This scheme specifically applies to individuals and charities only.

At Millercare we will help you obtain your VAT exception when purchasing applicable items from us by simply asking you to provide details of the illness, condition or disability of the user of the item being purchased. All the prices shown for items stated below are exclusive of VAT.

Items will either be marked in the product item description as being ‘Zero VAT Rated’ or are one of the product types listed below.

The following products are sold at 0% VAT:

• Shower Chairs
• Sanitary devices such as Commodes, Commode Stools and frames for sitting on or rising from a sanitary appliance
• Incontinence Products
• Walking Aids and Accessories
• Certain types of auditory and low vision aids
• Wheelchairs, Accessories and Parts
• Mobility Scooter Accessories and Parts

Please be aware that 0% VAT is only applicable if the user of the items either has a long term illness or is disabled. Once we receive your order for a zero VAT rated item, we will email you via the eBay messaging system so that you can provide us with information regarding your illness or disability. This declaration must be emailed back to us before we can dispatch your order.
