A Dreamcast with built in switchable VGA output is the best way (and cheapest) to view Dreamcast games on a modern Plasma/LCD/LED Tv, though the Tv will need to accept the 640x480 output.
Picture of my actual work now added as requested, also I confirm the extension port is still able to be used and the addition of the VGA and switch in no way hampers this.
PLEASE ALSO NOT THAT THIS MOD CHANGES THE SCART SIGNAL FROM 15 to 31HZ THIS MAY MEAN THAT YOUR TV WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT A SIGNAL THROUGH A DREAMCAST SCART LEAD, THOUGH THIS IS TV DEPENDENT.
VGA output can also be switched off to enable the normal AV signal to be output.
Please note that as these consoles have not been manufactured for over 10 years so these are not new and may have marks on the outer case, though I do try and ensure that these are minor and of course have no effect on the working of the console itself.
