One Stainless Steel Yerba Mate Bombilla / Yerba Mate Straw
This is my favorite yerba mate straw that I sell for yerba mate, coffee and tea. It does not have removable head but filters very well without clogging and has very good low water level performance as well as allows extra flavor through. The straw is constructed out of 304 class (18-8) stainless steel, the same type of stainless steel found in top quality flatware.
Included is one stainless steel, small style yerba mate bombilla filtering straw. It comes sealed in a plastic bag. The length of the straw is slightly shorter than some of the other straws but should be fine for small to medium sized coffee cups or yerba mate gourds.

With a filtering straw, mint leaves, lavender, ginger root can be added to existing drinks without worrying about clogging the straw. Lemons and limes can be freshly squeezed directly into the glass and seeds are no longer a problem with a filtering straw.

Styles
A variety of different styles are available for different uses. For smaller size cups such as coffee mugs, and yerba mate gourds, a small to medium sized straw should work fine. For full size glasses for things such as freshly squeezed lemonaid, a large straw will work best. A size comparison image is shown below. It is the one second from the last image on right.

In order to really make use of a filtering straw, more than one is necessary for maximum convenience. Simply hand wash after using or place in the dishwasher. If you use a dishwasher, it is best to have a second yerba mate straw to avoid the inconvenience of reaching into a hot, running dishwasher for a single straw.
