Increasingly due to much higher postage costs by Royal Mail I am using other carriers so could any succesful bidder when paying also leave some instructions for the courier where to leave parcel if nobody is at home ie "Leave in shed/porch or with a neighbour etc" I personally insure items up to the value of £50 if your item is over this value then there will be an extra charge of £1.30 for UK delivery and £6.00 for overseas delivery (due to several recent losses ALL parcels to Italy and China must pay this) on top of the quoted price. Recent customs changes in the Russian Federation mean that it is now not possible to send any parcels that weigh over 2 Kg to a private address. Be aware that on very rare occasions prices for shipping of large overseas parcels could be more expensive than quoted if you live in a remote area including the Azores where shippers charge a high premium so ask before bidding if you think you live in a remote area. Please ask as many questions as you like before bidding, I describe all items as clearly as I can but honest mistakes can be made and remember when buying antique and vintage items that they will not come with the shine and finish of new.
