Sparks is a professional quality direct dye. This special dye system allows you to apply the color straight out of the tube directly onto the hair with no need to mix with anything else. The color you see coming out of your tube, is the color you will see in your hair. Sparks is a long-lasting bright hair dye and will last in the hair up to 3 months. The durability of the color in the hair depends on several factors including:
-Porosity or condition of the hair
This references the health of the hair. If hair is damaged or overly porous, it lacks the internal fiber to adequately retain color, which leads to more rapid color fading.
-Shampoo use
Some shampoos may strip color from the hair faster, leading to more rapid fading of color. Be sure to use a sulfate-free shampoo for the longest-lasting results.
-Pre-lighten
If you choose to apply Sparks to hair that has not been pre-lightened, the color will not be nearly as bold or vibrant and the color will fade more quickly.  

  • There are 2 options when applying Sparks:
    1. Apply Sparks to pre-lightened hair for the longest-lasting and brightest results
    2. Apply Sparks as an overlay on top of hair that has not been pre-lightened for a very subtle look with less durability
  • Sparks are formulated so they can be easily mixed with other Sparks colors.  Remember the color you see in the bowl is the color you will see in your hair.  Sparks are unique and different from other brands. Processing times, ingredient combinations and mixing options may vary with other brands. Please always mix Sparks with other Sparks colors
Before Starting:
1. Use hair dye only as directed without addition of other substances. ONLY use a plastic bowl, NEVER metal.
2. NEVER add peroxide to hair color. Do not use alkaline products. Low pH, non-alcohol based products are recommended.
3. For best results, hair should be porous, bleached or tinted. Only partial or no color action will occur on unprocessed hair. Colors will give a highlight effect to unbleached dark hair. Conduct a patch test:
a. Select a small test area, behind the ear or inner fold of elbow.
b. Wash test area with mild soap and water. Dab dry with a clean towel.
c. Cover the clean test area with a thin coat of the hair color. Leave on 15 minutes.
d. Allow the test area to dry. Leave uncovered, undisturbed for 24 hours.
e. Examine the area. If there are any signs of redness, burning, itching or blisters, do not use the product.

  • We ship only to the paypal address. Make sure your address information is correct for delivery.The accuracy of that address is the responsibility of the buyer and if a package is undeliverable and returned to us, we will not refund the shipping costs.
  • Returns are accepted for unused unopened resellable product within 14 days. Contact us for return authorization. Buyer pays for return shipping.

  • We ship to Canada, western Europe, Australia, and Japan.  We ship by U.S. Postal Service First Class International Mail which does not have tracking outside the U.S. Tracking will show the exit of the package leaving the U.S. No further tracking will be available unless your country tracks the packages from there.
  •  We are not responsible for packages lost outside the U.S. or in your customs.
  • We are not responsible for any Customs / Duty Fees. Import duties, taxes, and charges are NOT INCLUDED in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when/where you pick up your package, and should not be confused with additional shipping charges.
  •  We do not mark merchandise values below (actual) value or mark items as gifts. U.S. and International government regulations prohibit this.
  •  Shipping time can take as long as 30 days. We are not responsible for shipping delays as a result of the Mail or Customs. There is no shipping on weekends or holidays.
  • Funkyshop is not responsible for banned/prohibited items seized and/or returned by International Customs Officials. Buyers are expected to know if they are allowed to purchase & receive such items from Funkyshop.

  •  Please note that due to the limitation of the way Ebay combines and applies rates the system might not be able to do so automatically when selecting different colors.
