The Revolutionary New Skin Care Treatment; MT Derma Roller
Ageless Skincare; Medical Therapy; Versatile Treatment
The Derma-Rolling Principle
Derma-rolling remolds the skin by
creating thousands of microscopic channels through the skin, increasing
the formation of new tissue by activating the body’s wound healing
cascade (hemostats-inflammation-proliferation-tissue remodeling). The
micro-channeling causes the release of growth factors that promote
scar-less healing and the deposition of normal woven collagen rather
than scar collagen. The fibroblasts are responsible for collagen
production. The exact mechanism how this happens is complex and not yet
completely understood. New collagen and elastin forms. In one study,
twenty blinded biopsies taken from 10 different patients from various
parts of their body demonstrated an average increase in new fibers of
206%, in one biopsy a 1000% increase was recorded.
Derma Rollers are supported by clinical studies to be effective in
non-surgical and non-ablative treatment for a variety of skin
conditions. These include aging, (wrinkles, fine lines, and stretch
marks), scarring (acne and surgical), as well as cellulite and hyper-pigmentation.
Studies have also shown that derma rollers are often a better
treatment than dermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser resurfacing. They
are proven to be just as effective in their ability to stimulate
collagen and elastin production. Regular use of Derma Roller can thicken
skin, smooth scars of all sizes, and erase wrinkles. Skin needling can
be done at home, at your convenience.
- Stimulates collagen production
- Improves elasticity of skin
- Reduces pore size and firms the skin
- Smooths acne scars
- Reduces fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles
Amount of Needles:
It's about 30 rows with 8 needles in each row for approximately 240 needles. As far as I can tell, each needle has a point which is split into 3 separate points tripling the number of needle points to720. The roller is actually just over 3/4" wide

Instructions
Step 1
Pour a decent amount of rubbing alcohol to the roller storage container,
submerge the roller head. Let the alcohol disinfect both the roller and
the container for a minimum of 5 minutes.
Step 2
Dispose the rubbing alcohol off from the roller’s container and run the
container under the hot water to get rid of debris and leftovers of
alcohol and germs.
Step 3
Fill the sink with hot water, add a tablespoon of bleach to the water,
and then place your derma roller and its container in the sink. Leave
the roller for five minutes to properly disinfect it.
Step 4
Take the roller and the container out of the water and dry it off. Place the roller back to its container.
Attentions
- Do not force the roller into the skin but simply use mild pressure.
- Roll obliquely at the same intensity covering the same areas in both directions (vertically and horizontally).
- The roller cannot be overused as the needles will remain sharp for a prolonged time.
-
Not suitable for use with the following skin conditions: active acne,
eczema, rosacea, peonasis, severe solar karatosis and raised moles or
warts.
Review From A MT Derma Roller User:
The concept here is that as the device rolls along the skin,
these needles penetrate the upper layers of skin producing thousands of
tiny puncture marks in the skin to create a controlled injury
underneath the skin's surface, thereby inducing the body to respond by
producing more collagen in that area. The skin plumps and thickens in
response to the stimulus thus reducing fine lines, scars and stretch
marks. Wash your face and any other part
of your body that will be treated as well as your hands and work area. I
put my hair back in a ponytail away from my face. As a general guide, roll it over
the area to be treated 8-10 times or 2~3 minutes. I have noticed a remarkable improvement in skin tone and the lines on
my face are smoother especially the smile or joker lines. I have a few
sun spots on my forearms as well and they are considerably lighter and
smaller with only two treatments. I am convinced that Micro-needling
truly helps minimize wrinkles and scarring and will continue this
therapy with great anticipation in reaping it's benefits over a longer
period of time.
TE: 10/24-13
It's now two days after my third needle treatment
and I am continually amazed at the rate my skin seems to be
rejuvenating. The sun spots on my arms became a bit flaky but since have
virtually disappeared. I also experienced some dry patches around my
forearms and where my pants hug my waist but nothing drastic. I am
comfortable with needling every 7-8 days but it varies with each
individual and how fast or slow you heal. I am most pleased with the
affect this procedure is having on my jowls and joker (smile) lines. I
am seeing a noticeable change daily. My husband asked me the other day
if I did anything different to my hair because something looked
different in a good way. (that's 20 yrs of marriage for you, it took me a
two weeks to notice he had shaved off his beard last year). Anyway, I
cannot stress enough that needling for me is truly helping reverse the
hands of time and I am so thankful I stumbled across this site.
- Minimal Pain. Most people can manage without a topical anesthetic.
- Use it 2-3 times a week, at least in the first 3 months
- After treatment, you can expect an inflammation (reddening) of the
skin which usually lasts for a
a few hours but sometimes can last up to 48
hours.
