Up for bid is a genuine 1974 Laverda 750 SFC with original matching engine and frame numbers (#17188). This bike is listed with the Marnix SFC registry.

This bike has recently been restored to a very high level. The frame has been zinc plated like the original bikes rather than powder coated. The tank has been treated professionally with a coating used to line aircraft fuel tanks to safeguard against ethanol in modern fuels. The bike retains its original magnesium hubs and both Borrani rims have been polished and re-laced with stainless steel spokes. The original points ignition has been replaced with a Sachse electronic ignition. A clutch actuator arm extender has been added to lessen the clutch lever pull. This bike retains the close ratio original transmission, but a 40 tooth sprocket was added to lessen the need for slipping the clutch on "take off." As shown in the photos, the bike has the requisite "SFC" stamping on the engine case, original PHB carbs, reinforced rear swingarm, and YES, it does have 5C cams and 7mm "sump" studs - all confirming this bike is a genuine SFC.

This bike runs flawlessly, has great compression, does not smoke, and while it is in excellent cosmetic condition, it has been ridden and is ready to continue to be ridden.

What appears to be the original left hand side stock mirror and the original stock clutch arm and points ignition come with the bike, as does a copy of the Nebraska registration showing the original two owners of the bike.
