Up for auction is a 1950's NORDMENDE "ELECTRA" TABLE TOP RADIO in original condition. The cabinet of this radio has a very nice shine to it, but does show normal signs of age and wear: some light surface scratches, dents & dinks (mainly on the edges), some crazing of the finish, smudges, etc...On the left hand front corner and back corner are some small chips. On the top front right hand corner is another nick. They have been blended in nicely and don't stick out like a sore thumb when displayed. (They don't look good in close-up photos, but they aren't back when displayed.)  The grill cloth, dial face, pushbuttons and knobs are all excellent. It still has its four original plastic feet. The back and the power cord are in excellent condition as well. The power cord is still pliable with no cracks or bare wires showing. I couldn't get a response when I plugged it in, so I removed the back and noticed a tube was missing. According to the tube chart it is an ECC85. Other than that, the chassis looks complete, but you are buying this electronically AS IS since the tube is missing. It measures approx. 16" long, 7" deep and 9 1/2" tall. A nice looking radio if you have the ability to restore it. PLEASE review the photos and ask any questions prior to bidding.
