Here is a one of a kind Short & Mason Tycos thermo-barograph previously owned by Clarence W. Barron of Barron's Magazine and Dow Jones.   Truly an important person in the history of modern finance!  The last picture is of Mr. Barron from the Wall Street Journal's website.  This great instrument was presented to Mr. Barron from the news staff of Dow Jones in 1925 (pic. 11). So dating this one is easy!  Measures temperature and pressure on the same chart!  Bevelled glass is in mint condition and no scratches that I can see. Brass movement is gold plated as most of these were.  Has been calibrated for accuracy and clock has been cleaned, oiled, and timed properly.  Comes with 52 proper (#20 reproduction) weekly charts in inches of Hg. and 2 original bottles full of green and purple ink.  Absolutely awesome antique meteorological instrument with great history!  Will be a beautiful center piece wherever displayed! Not pictured, but will come with a letter from the owner who acquired it from C.W. Barron.
