This 1947 issue Lionel 2625 Irvington passenger car is in excellent original condition except possibly the faint lighter brown spots toward one end of the roof. The bakelite body has little or none of the often seen blackness of the raw black surface showing where paint has chipped or not adhered. The details of the undercarriage place this car as circa 1947. The 1947 box with it has lost its endflaps but the liner continues to provide protection for the car after all these decades.
