Original German WW2 Map of Russia dated 1942.  Its a map meant for use by German soldiers and it would have been carried for general reference or hung on the wall in military HQ or barracks.  See the two original photos in this listing showing actual wartime use of this map by German Soldiers. One shows it being hung on barracks or a military office wall and the other is a color photo that shows members of a Panzer Reconnaissance unit with this map in 1942.

This particular map was printed the day after the invasion or start of Operation Barbarossa on June 23, 1941.  It is in great shape with some wear but no major rips or tears.  It folds up for easy carry in a map case or backpack.

Unfolded it measures; 21 3/4 x 31 1/2"

folded it measures;  7 7/8 x 10 7/8"

This is a great item for the German WW2 collector or living history or reenactment group.
