What is this?
This is a Netgear DGN1000 ADSL 2+ Modem Wireless Router. It has been upgraded with the latest Netgear firmware and then fully tested for ADSL sync, ethernet connectivity and wireless connctivity.. It has then been set to default settings. The Netgear DGN1000 is the Wireless N150 (150Mbps) version of the very popular DG834G WirelessG router. It is particularly easy to configure for port forwarding and non-NAT configurations.

Will this router work with my broadband connection?

The DGN1000 is suitable for connection to ADSL broadband lines (Annex A type) and is compatible with all UK ADSL Internet Service Providers, including. ADSL providers like BT, Talk Talk etc. If you intend to use this on SKY UK ADSL Broadband, please note that you will need your SKY broadband username and password. If you do not have these details, there are tools available online which you can use to find these out (search online).

What does it come with?
The router comes with a 3 pin UK power supply, a modem cable, a network cable, stand, an ADSL filter (BT plug), a quick setup guide and a resource CD.

Can you help me install the router?
I include a simple quick start guide with each router to help you set the router up. I am also available on the phone and by email if you get stuck (contact details below). If you like a sneak preview as to the setup process - here it is:
  •     Connect the router to your phone line using a modem cable via an ADSL filter.
  •     Connect to your computer using a network cable.
  •     Connect the power supply.
  •     Open the web browser on your computer and type in http://192.168.0.1
  •     Login with the default login/password which is admin/password
  •     Use the setup wizard or enter your ISP info manually.
  •     Setup wireless security as desired.
Do you guarantee your routers?
Yes, all my routers come with a 1 year warranty from date of receipt of the router by yourself. You do not have to register for your warranty as I keep a record of all items sold. I try and describe all my items as clearly as possible. If you are unhappy with the router or transaction for any reason at all, please contact me and I will work with you to put it right.

Can I collect the router?
Yes, please contact me to arrange local collection. I am in Dollingstown, Co Armagh, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.

Additional Information

Packaging: I package all items myself personally. I ensure that the item is well packed so that it arrives in good condition. I also recycle packaging where possible to do my bit for the environment.

UK Postage: I will post to the address given by Paypal only. Please ensure that your address on Paypal is correct before you pay. UK postage & handling costs (if applicable) are noted on the listing. I always obtain proof of posting and items are insured for loss and damage in transit.

Non-UK delivery: Postage costs are noted on the listing. I post to most countries (see exceptions on the p&p tab). Please note that if you are outside the UK or European Union, your local customs may charge you import duty. There is no additional duty to be paid if you are in the UK or EU.
