The Italian camo M41 type panzer wrap was identical in cut to the wool black panzer tunic.

It had two rows of closure buttons. One row allowing less room, was utilized when the jacket was used in the summer or in warm climates.

The other row, allowing more room, was used over the wool panzer wrap or other clothing, to protect it from wear or for added concealment.

Thereby the wearer could choose a tight or loose fit.

The panzer wrap featured a large front pocket and the machine sewn button hole flap, and the large air opening under the armpits.

The back of the panzer wrap is constructed of two panels.

Also there is a middle guide tunnel for the back ties, this was used to give a snug fit to the soldier.
