So, you own a JBL Charge 2 speaker and are disappointed with distortion, noise, artifacts, and uneven volume levels. 

Great news! It can be fixed! 

The issue is that almost every JBL Charge 2 shipped so far comes with an outdated firmware. The Charge 2+ resolves this issue by having an updated firmware installed. The Charge 2 is probably the best $100 speaker on the market once the firmware update is applied. 

However, JBL won't update the firmware for you unless you happen to live close to a distribution and repair center. 

This auction is for a Email that contains the following: 

Instructions on how to update your speaker 
Installation software for the firmware 
Updated firmware file 

To check if you have an outdated firmware: 

Turn off all local bluetooth devices (Phones, etc) 
Power on your speaker 
Hold the Volume + and Bluetooth button for 10 seconds. 
If you hear "One Four One,(1.41)" you are on the newest firmware. If its anything prior, you should update it to fix the sound quality problems 

Again, this is for the Charge 2 only as the Charge 2+ ships from the factory with updated software.
