1977 cb750k model with approx. 23,000 - 25,000 miles on it. I received it in 2010 with 18,000 miles on the odometer when I removed it from the frame and changed all of the gaskets and up dating the screws to stainless allen bolts. I bought this bike after it had been garaged here in Los Angeles, for 20 years, it was not running and needed a major tune up from sitting.
I  gave it a cafe racer conversion, using new, custom and vintage parts. This bike is a daily driver and has been very good to me as I had been very good to it, tuning and cleaning it regularly.

I built this, among other cb750, cafe racers and have been for about ten years. I have sold bikes to Japan, Australia and the U.K. I make hand made custom parts for cafe racers like seats cowls, oil reservoirs, custom tanks, rear sets...The reason I am selling this bike is because I have about eight cb750's, a Gt750, and an XS750. I need to clear up the shop and make some room.

This bike was tested and fine tuned. I have been driving it on the freeways of Los Angeles and it has been tested on the local, San Bernadino and Santa Monica Mountains to make sure it is a solid, dependable bike. The bike is registered and titled in my name.

Rebuilt carbs from a 73 cb750. They are re jetted to match the velocity stacks and one of a kind, vintage, Italian, Bassani header welded up to a Dunstall pipe. It has an awesome, roaring sound that really compliments the design of this bike.

I replaced the steel rims and spokes to aluminum, shouldered rims (19" front, 18 rear) and stainless steel spokes. It presently has brand new Bridgestone, Spitfire tires with less than 100 miles on them.
I rewired the whole harness, omitting everything but the essentials. I soldered and shrink wrapped the original, color coded wires after close inspection making sure nothing was cut, spliced, or burnt.
I made the aluminum, Buzz Bomb, oil reservoir and steel braided lines hooked together with an10 aircraft fittings. It holds more oil than the original and works great. Also improves the overall design.
The seat is one of the first from this deco design I have been making. I now slump or hand blow the glass for them, This seat uses a 1920's cargo truck, glass lens on the back of my aluminum seat cowl (hiding all of the electronics, battery and tail light. The saddle is hand stitched leather over high density foam.
The suspension is stock except the rear 1981 cb1100f reservoir shocks.
I changed out the heavy duty O-ring chain and sprockets. Although I have put miles on the sprockets in the last two years, I inspected them and they are in excellent condition with very little wear.
I cut, made brackets and installed GXSR rear sets that shift smooth and clean. They feel like they were made for this bike- they were.
The tank is from a 1972 cb750, the brown one. I painted a metallic base with a root beer candy over the top of it. It looks black in the shadows and glows metallic cola brown in the sun.
It is tuned with new oil, points are spot on, valves are set and carbs are clean. Runs great.

This bike is dependable, fast and gets plenty of attention when parked around any other motorcycles. It is always a topic of discussion when I take it out for rides up the coast to Malibu with the Venice, Vintage motorcycle club, or the rallies up the Angeles Crest with the Norton and British Clubs, even though they look down on Japanese bikes. Wherever I take this bike I meet people interested in talking about it.

I have worked with some amazing motorcycle and hot rod painters and fabricators for a number of years where I picked up some skills and brought them to this bike. It is an awesome machine that I will truly miss. I have too many  of these bikes and a custom mail order shop fabricating custom cafe racer parts. I need the space in my shop and driveway.

Please feel free to ask me questions, I will reply as soon as possible.

Good luck on your bidding.
Auction winner is getting one amazing machine.
