Matched Pair RCA JAN CRC 5693

NOS Tubes, 1962, Tested

• For sale are two (2) matched RCA JAN CRC 5693 Tubes.  These are New Old Stock.   Both tubes also have the same date code.  They do not come with the original boxes, but I will package them very safely and securely for shipping.
  
  
• The date code is 62-39 (1962, and I believe week 39).  One is stamped '39 A4 USA' on the base, and the other one is stamped '39 6A USA'.
  
  
• These tubes are upgrades for and can replace 6SJ7 tubes.  These are rated for 10,000 hours of use.
  
  
• I have tested both of these with a calibrated B&K Dyna-Quick model 500 tube tester.  Each were tested for Shorts, Actual dynamic mutual conductance (True Gm), a Life test (which tests Gm under reduced heater voltage and indicates probable useful life), and a grid emission and gas test.
  
  
• The readings are as follows:

    • No gas, or grid emission defects
    • Actual Gm = 1850 micromhos
    • Life Gm     = 1850 micromhos
      
      
  • Tube #2
  • • No shorts
    • No gas, or grid emission defects
    • Actual Gm = 1800 micromhos
    • Life Gm     = 1750 micromhos
      
      
• The standard Gm for a new tube of this type is 1650 micromhos.
