Offered is this quaint and sweet three piece set of Adderley China.  The pot is 7" tall with lid, 5 1/2" tall without lid, 5 1/2" wide from spout to handle and top inside rim diameter of 1 5/8" and base diameter of 3".  The bowl is 6 3/8" diameter with base rim diameter of 2 1/2" and it sits 1 1/2" high.  The plate is 8 3/8" diameter with bottom inside rim of 4 1/2" diameter.  Snow white background with little pink roses & green leaves throughout the pieces.  Nice gold accent trim.  Pot lid has little steamer hole.  All pieces have the Adderley trademark in picture 10.  This mark was produced from 1950 - 1962.

Adderley Limited operated at the Daisy Bank Pottery in London, Stoke-on-Trent - producing china and earthenware from c. 1936 to 1988.  Adderley operated Adderley Floral and Figurine China Co. Ltd. at Adderley Works, Sutherland Road, London.  In 1947 Adderley Limited was taken ovr by Ridgway Potteries Ltd., however the name Adderley continued to be used.  In 1962, Ridgway Potteries introduced the "Royal Adderley - Ridgway Potteries Ltd." mark.

This set is in nice condition for 40+ years old.  There are no chips or cracks on these pieces.  All have some wear to the gold trim.  The pot has a little grey mark at the bottom of the spout (picture 4).  The plate has also a little grey thin mark (picture 8) and some spots on the back of the plate (picture 9).  It also shows some crazing on the back.  The bowl has minute tiny black specks in the center (picture 12).
