A very nice pair of postcards from Hiroshima, Japan documenting the world's first atomic bomb used in war and the subsequent end of World War II.  Both are unused, not postmarked.

The first shows a building at the center of the explosion before and and after the explosion. It reads, in part, "...this brought World War II to an end. Here we can be vividly reminded of the terrible aspect of the disaster."

The second shows roof tiles and a tomb stone at the explosion center and the effect of the heat (5000 degrees Celsius) and blast.

Please ask questions before buying. Thanks and God bless.
