Part: Genuine 1984-1986 Nissan 300ZX Dashboard - Black.
Condition: As pictured. In my opinion this dash is in very good condition because it has no fade or cracks. There is no evidence of advanced degradation of the vinyl either. This dash is a worthy replacement for the often cracked or faded original in the now classic Z31. Donor car was a 1984 50th Anniversary Edition 300ZX. SN 86957 is pictured & listed.
There are common quirks with these dashes that are known to all Z31 enthusiasts and I am going to point them out:
1- Top of the instrument panel surround where the windshield defog outlet is a bit wide because of its 30 years of being exposed to the sun. See applicable picture. This can easily be corrected by a professional automotive upholstery shop with minimal cost.
2- All of these dashes have some lifting at the edge of dash where it meets the windshield to dash divider panel. Again a professional automotive upholstery shop can easily correct this. Alternatively we can have all of this done for the buyer through the services of a well known local upholsterer, if you choose to do so. Please contact us for details.
Note: The 1984-86 dashboards differ from the 1987-89 models mainly due to the right and left end built-in speaker grilles [as shown in the pictures] The 1987-89 models do not have built-in front speaker grilles on the dash.

Notice: Dashboard removal and installation is not easy. It is time consuming and requires attention to detail. To avoid damage to the replacement dash and related components, professional/expert installation is highly recommended.
