We are listing a one-of-a-kind motoring collectible. Crafted by Rene Lalique, this solid bronze plaque was presented to participants of the first Targa Florio, held on 1906. Image on relief depicting the winning Itala 35/40hp as driven to victory by Alessandro Cagno. Still in its original scarlet velvet and silk-lined brown leather presentation case. With only 10 participants, it is consider to be 1 of only 10 plaques...

Bronze plaque marked LALIQUE and BRONZE with correct hallmark, in very good to excellent condition. Case with scratches on lether. Plaque measures 55mm x 40mm; case measures 75mm x 60mm aprox.
