ORIGINAL 1975 MISS AMERICA SUPER WOMAN CYRK POLISH CIRCUS POSTER BY WITOLD JANOWSKI (b 1926)

This is really a wonderful original.  I recently acquired a collection of original CYRK Polish Circus posters from a local estate.  They were from an Eastern European family who went back often and also owned an art gallery in Cambridge Massachusetts.  They were friends with many of the artists they represented including many of the artists who created these posters.  Many of these posters are quite rare and I have not even been able to find another example of some of these for sale anywhere.  This is a wonderful view of a woman on a trapeze in a 'United States' leotard.  Measures 38 x 26 1/2 inches.  Shows some minor edge tears as well as some minor handling creases and edge bumps.  Still a very good example.  Some light spotting to the lithograph in the black background.
