5x7 Borsum Reflex Camera with Goerz Lens- 

Big Camera - RARE camera amd even rarer size

This is a project that is about 80 percent there

Was working until the shutter straps broke

I re-silvered the mirror and had a tech install a flash synch micro switch on the mirror flap

the lens that came with it is a 8.25 Goerz Celor f4.5 that is in fair to VG condition  - and missing aperture blades

the flash sync was problematic as the mirror closed before the shutter was completely open so I had to use a micomax pocket wizard set to get a delay

also..I had the mirror re-silvered on the front (which is what most cameras do) but I think this camera had a rear surface mirror....so the focus is off

I tried to offset that by spacing of the ground glass - I'm pretty close there

so - there it is
