The name "Khao Sam Roi Yot (Yod)" means the mountain with 300 peaks in Thai. A series of grey limestone mountains with living gemstones of lifetime divine blessing, known as ' Arahant / Arahan Relic Stone' was found in deep caves in the Sam Roi Yot (Yod) mountain in Prachup Khiri Khan province in Thailand.
The name for this sacred stone is called ARAHANT or ARAHAN stone. This sacred stone has been taken from the caves at Sam Roi Yod Mountains in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand. The sacred stone is known as a living stone that gives Divine Blessings. This stone is very powerful on its own without being blessed or empowered by Buddhist monks.
This Arahant / Arahan stone is very auspicious and it is believed that the keeper and wearer will get all the best things in life. They will be healthy, happy, peaceful and wealthy.

According to legend - 2000 year ago, 500 Arahant monks practiced meditation in the caves in the Sam Roi Yod Mountain - Prachup Khiri Khan Province, Thailand. The strong aura from the practicing meditation had formed the relic - 龙宫舍利子 into the stone at the cave. Some relic stone also formed by the fossil relic after Arahants had attained perfect enlightenment inside the cave. Even now the Arahant Relic Stone is a living stone with Divine Blessing.
ARAHANT / ARAHAN STONE.
Arahant comes from the Pali word arahati meaning ‘worthy’ or ‘noble’ and is a title given to someone who has attained enlightenment as a result of listening to and practising the teachings of a Buddha. Like a Buddha, an arahant has perfected wisdom and compassion and is no longer subject to rebirth. The Buddha describes the arahant as having transcended ‘the round of birth and death, they have destroyed the taints, lived the holy life, done what had to be done, laid down the burden, reached the ultimate goal, destroyed the fetters and become completely free, liberated through final knowledge’.
When Buddhist Arahant’s are cremated, the remains of pearl like translucent beads known as ‘Relics’ are found and formed inside the Sam Roi Yod Cave. These ‘Relic Stones’ are believed to emit very strong Spiritual Power and ensure that the presence of Buddha is perpetuated. Phra Somdej were created by Somdej Phra Buddhacara Toh Prommarangsi (Somdej Toh) son of King Rama I.
He started to make Phra Somdej amulets in B.E.2409. Materials for making Phra Somdej comprise of : Shell lime, holy powder, assorted flowers from shine, rice, lotus, ashes, honey, banana, tang oil, etc. When the amulet has been created it is chanted with spells by Buddhist monks. A Phra Somdej amulet will bless you for good karma and strong protection against negative energy. A total of 84,000 amulets were made at the time. Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang is oneof the most famous and the best amulets from Thailand.
