The ’59 Overwound provide similar characteristics to the Classic ’50s but with a seasoned touch of mid range giving it a hotter and bigger sound, much like our favorite from Austin!
The set, like our others, comes calibrated to offer a balance across your Strat®. The middle is reverse wound/reserse polarity to offer hum canceling in the notch positions 2 and 4 as well as that sweet “quack” tone.
