Native Tribal Healers and Holy Men have regarded the hoop as sacred and have traditionally used it in their ceremonies. It's significance also enhanced the embodiment of healing ceremonies... While traditional hoops were most often large and made by placing stones upon the ground, some peoples regarded smaller representations of the Sacred Wheel as a symbolic talisman and reminder of our eternal connection to the energy of the Great Spirit.
