Yashica A Yashicaflex ROOKIE 6x6 120 TLR Twin LensĀ

If you are thinking of buying a Yashica A then think about a ROOKIE instead. It is virtually the same except it has the added advantage of being able to take two different sized images.

First released in March  1956 (my goodness, that's 55 years ago, and I remember it!) the Rookie uses 120 roll film and can produce 6x6 or 6x4.5cm images by using an internal mask (not supplied) and winding the film to the respective markings on the paper backing which can be viewed through a film-safe window on the rear of the camera.

IJust like the Yashica A it has Yashimar f/3.5 80mm lenses with a Copal B 1/25th to 1/300th shutter which is working just beautifully.
