ITEM: Quantaray Telephoto lens = 400/6.3 in T:m42 mount for film or Better on Mirrorless cameras,   m4/3 rd's (800mm) or Sony APS_C Nex (600mm) Sony 24x36mm FE mount-FF (400mm), Nikon, Canon, etc.  DSLR & DSLM full frames digital. 
 You Will NEED an  adapter  any type of Digital camera mount you have which I am NOT selling , but they are on eBay by the thousands, cheaply.
 
MECHANICALLY: High precision machined blackened 
 & aluminium bi-metals. INFINITY  focus to 26' or 8mtr.  Helicoil is very smooth and easy too turn & very usable ! This lens has not seen daylight in over 25 years! Beautiful condition, stored in a good environment,,,,, Diaphragm is very well working  Amazing Build of 13 Aperture blades  no oil on them. Lens weighs 24oz. Ding in filter threads was removed today see photo,  I have special tool for that task. The lens was sold on eBay last week and shipped. Buyer said arrived Bent; no focus? He returned it for a full refund. I took it apart the rear tube was cross thread and a set screw was missing. I cannot understand how that was possible? Tiny Set screws do NOT disappear?  I disassembled the Concave/convex doublet optics, cleaned and re-installed. The tiny set screw will prevent the threads from ever cross threading again. Check the last photos out for proof!  I checked infinity focus on a Pentax ES ll m42 mount for infinity focus. All is well again.


 
OPTICALLY: 99.9% light transmission through the 400mm F:6.3  lens with NO fine scratches or haze or fungus, in the amber lens coating. Crystal clear optics! 
 
Lens Beauty: 99.9% original condition, ! I am one of  the most scientific analyzer's of camera & lens conditions  selling on eBay. My background is high science in electronics, optics and mechanism's.  Beware many sellers on ebay, they have very low standards of TRUTH or knowledge!
 
USE:  Long lens shooting film or Digital, rated better than most of the other 400mm after market types.
