This new old stock-testing matched pair of General Electric Grey Glass 6V6GT 6V6 output tubes was tested on my Maxi-Matcher for plate current, shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. Transconductance measured 20 milliamps/1800 micromhos for Tube One and 21 milliamps/2000 micromhos for Tube Two (please note the heat-stress crack in its base) with 400 volts on the plates and a bias of -36 volts. (New US-made 6V6s typically test from the mid teens to mid 30s with transconductance from 1800 micromhos.
