Rare and truly stunning 1950s vintage tall Knoll desk lamp (max height 80 CM).

Description:

The lampshade is made of aluminium lacquered in a vintage black matt finish. Inner shade finished in a white matt finish.

The arms are made of a chrome metal rod fixed to the steel base which is lacquered in a matt black finish. The second arm can be adjusted up or down and extended in and out to accommodate various lengths of the arm.

The switch is located on the lamp. The lamp has been rewired with a black twisted fabric cable. The lamp takes one Edison screw bulb ( max 40 watt). It is fitted with a UK plug.

Condition:

In excellent vintage condition and in good working order. The lampshade, metal chromed arms and steel base are all in good vintage condition. The matt vintage black finish on the lampshade and base are of recent application. Overall some wear to the lampshade however this is conducive to the vintage age of the lamp. All structural components of the lamp including fittings, lampshade, metal arm are the original 1950s product. The lamp is in a vintage state however it has been professionally re-sprayed and rewired bringing it back to its form glory and beauty without compromising the look or retro value of the item.
