HOUGOUMONT NORTH GATE  Sometimes called the Grat Grate. First attack by the French  around 11:30 under Prince Jerome. Excavated  on the Battlefield of WATERLOO in the 1950's  from  the collection of Lewis Fay.  Mr Fay resided in France for over 30 years. His collection was sold in the 1990's. Group of a  fired French musket ball and a large iron spike from North Gate 20cm also clay pipe section and a small pottery section. Great group of relics.
