I purchased this light microscope for medical school, and I have used it about 20 times. It came in the original styrofoam, sealed packaging from Germany in the 1950's. Brand new. However, the cord naturally deteriorated so I sent it to Optical Services for a new cord and check up. I have not used it since. Please note that although this microscope is in great condition the side of the objective housing, on one side has some of the finish removed. It could be touched up. The company in Germany that I purchased it from told me that someone had discovered a small number of those microscopes in a warehouse, still sealed, in their original packaging.
Microscope comes with the four depicted objectives: all objectives are free of any delamination. The light and microscope are fully functional.
