GreenLight 1:18
NYPD Chevy Biscayne

This is the one that collectors have been wanting for years. Since no one wanted to do an authentic 1960's livery New York City Police Department vehicle, we took it upon ourselves to produce this gorgeous car with GreenLight's assistance.
Although New York City traditionally utilized Plymouth Fury's as police vehicles, a call to increase the number of sector cars assigned to each command forced the city to purchase 425 Chevy Biscaynes. Plymouth simply could not fill the order for the extra cars. The new Chevy cars were assigned the 2000-2499 numbering series. When the city returned to Plymouth the following year, they continued the numbering series from 2500 up.

This amazingly detailed model is put together with the highest attention to detail possible. The accurate paint scheme and graphics are complimented by the Stewart Warner speedometer mounted on the dash and Motorola handset style two way radio. The Federal Pulsator siren and 175H Beacon Ray light even proudly adorn the roof.

Heavy weight diecast and beautiful graphic box remind of a much different time "on the job". This makes the perfect gift for the NYPD buff in your life.
