After unexpectedly finding myself in the hospital in August, I am having to sell some of my personal treasures to keep the bills paid........these are things I never thought I would part with.

This has been tucked away for a long time but I have kept it from any damage while in my possession.

I took one picture with the flash and it washes out the colors but maybe you can see the detail better.

Incredible very old drawstring bag is either a purse or a kese (mens tobacco bag).

Silk lining is intact with a small stain shown between my fingers in the last picture.

The outside is incredibly beautiful multi color metal thread embroidery.

Lining is faded red silk.

Guessing it to be from Turkey or Persia.

Measures 9" X 7.5"

I have never seen another one in person,.... only seen them online in people's collections.

This one still has ONE of the gold thread tassles intact..... I believe there were originally 3 of them,..... one at each corner and one in the center of the bottom edge.
