The 12AX7A features a spiral-wound filament and is superior to it's earlier counterpart. The spiral filament cuts down on noise and microphonics. These are labeled RCA but were made by Mullard, it was very common for companies to re-brand back in the day. They have "Gt. Britain" printed on the glass with the classic white chalk paint and also have the "Euro flash" when they are first fired up. These are the short round plate versions. This plate style is more commonly seen with 12AT7s. Have no worries though, these are genuine 12AX7s - we tested them at real world voltages just to make sure. All tubes have been tested for shorts, leaks, gas and Gm on a professionally calibrated Hickok TV-7 tube tester. These tubes all tested from 90% - 110% of the typical NOS value on this tester (52/52). They came all in the same bulk-pack and do appear to be truly NOS but without the original boxes I cannot say they are for sure. They sure do test and look NOS, aside from a few slightly bent pins, most likely from testing. One white box included per tube.
