I purchased this wonderful Belt on a recent trip to Mexico, it is a lovely color combination of Purples, Greens and Raspberry Pinks.  This piece was made in the Mayan Tzotzil community of Zinacantan in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico.   The belt itself has been hand woven on a Back Strap Loom, and then the floral designs have been machine stitched, as is the technique used in the community of Zinacatan.  There are metallic threads woven through the belt giving it a subtle sparkle.  The women for Zinacantan love the sparkly threads that they weave through their clothing...

This is a Medium Width and very Long Belt that can be used by almost all sizes of women, but is long enough to fit a 3X woman.

The belt measures 3 3/8 inches wide by 67 inches long, not including the ties that add another 40 inches on each end.  These belts are meant to wrap around the waist several times before being tied, thus it can fit a small to very large size woman.

Belts like this do not turn up often, so don't miss the opportunity to purchase this wonderful Belt!!
