The Air Jordan XVII+ arrived long past MJ’s days in the Windy City. The design came to life in tones unlike past Air Jordan models, sporting a color scheme inspired by his team at the time. Now, the modern design reaches back into the history books for a new Chicago-inspired look in fitting retro fashion.
The classic silhouette features a black premium leather upper with red hits on the Jumpman symbols and lace loops, in addition to red highlights that brighten the back half of the shoe.
Michael Jordan’s time spent wearing the Air Jordan 17+ was brief, but he made the most of it by reaching the historic 30,000 point plateau against his old team, the Chicago Bulls.
That’s where this Air Jordan 17+ “Bulls” rendition comes into play, referencing the historic occasion while revisiting the classic ‘Bred’ aesthetic on a pair that never rightfully claimed the look for itself during its
heyday in the early 2000s. The surprising retro utilizes a premium synthetic croc-skin texture on the heel while matching accents of metallic Gym Red land on the midsole and lace eyelets to further the Chicago Bulls-inspired colorway.
