There are usually 3 different versions for each console game—Japanese, US, and PAL—so as there are about 800 games for the Super Nintendo, for example, there will actually be many more in the games list. (The Nintendo 64 games are the US set plus the Japanese- and PAL-exclusive games, so as to save space on the SD card.)

(The reason why multiple versions of games are generally included is that a lot of games have differences between their regions and revisions. Examples: The Japanese version of BioMetal for the SNES has a completely different soundtrack to the PAL and US versions and the different revisions of The Revenge of Shinobi for the Mega Drive have different enemies and bosses.)

This is misleading as to how many different games there actually are, because some games have multiple versions (PAL, NTSC, Japan, etc.) and some games have multiple disk images. There are actually over 25,000 different games, though.

All of these emulators play at full speed and at least 90% of games work for most of them. The PS1 and N64 emulators are exceptions, as they have some stutter in some games; and the MAME emulator (lr-mame2003) is an exception, as it is a bit hit-and-miss as to which games work—most of them seem to work, though
