Description

Up for sale is an extremely rare PowerBook 170 special edition JLPGA/LPGA/Bennington model. This computer is one of the 6 rarest “production” Mac’s ever made. There were supposedly 500 of these unique PowerBooks made for a Japanese LPGA golf event. They rarely come up for sale, so this is your chance to buy an extremely rare piece of Apple history. This unit is fully functional. There is damage that has been professionally repaired but is not very noticeable (see photos). It also appears the feet might not be original on this unit (see photo 7). Additionally, all of the PowerBook 170-190 are having tunnel vision issues due to the LCD failing. Once the machine warms up it displays these symptoms. There is nothing to can be done, sadly.

Shipping in the US is free and will be fully insured. International shipping is also through FedEx but is a flat fee and will be fully insured.
