Fabulous vintage Mexican ruby glass and sterling silver ring handcrafted in Taxco Mexico. Large simulated ruby glass stone. It's set with 6 prongs with a swirly frosted matte silver border. Circa 1950s or 1960s.
SIZE: Measures about 6-1/4 on the mandrel. Stone about 16mm.
WEIGHT: 9 grams
HALLMARKS: Taxco; Eagle 3; Sterling; 925; makers signature is worn--may be AA or AR with a 3rd letter--photo 6
CONDITION: Very good vintage. The stone sits ever so slightly crooked in the setting-photo 5. It feels tight and securely in place. Normal wear, no other noticeable flaws.
