We are pleased to offer a complete package, ready to use, bench mounted spindle motor bundle. You can now have a Leather burnisher on one side and a Sanding drum on the other.
We have created a package price which has been discounted and includes the following:
1 x Bench mounted spindle motor.
1 x Just Wood & Armitage Leather Burnisher. (1/2" bore)
1 x Sleeveless sanding drum with 1/2' bore.
The spindle motor specifications are as follows:
- 230v - 50hz
- 370w
- 3,000rpm -1/2" shafts to fit the burnisher & Drum sander.
Please note that a 1/2" insert will only fit this spindle motor shaft.
Seven grooves have been added to help you burnish your leather at the most popular sizes. 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 9mm, and 12mm. The grooves are not fully rounded and will not dome the edge of the leather. Instead it will gently round the corners, which will provide a stronger more durable even edge giving a sharp detailed line on the surface.
The Burnisher has been fitted with a long collet which is designed to fit most 12.7mm shaft grinders. The collet is fixed in place inside the burnisher but in addition to this an extra-long grub screw has been used which not only locks the collet onto the grinder shaft, it also locks the Burnisher to the collet for additional safety.

Our woodturning side was started around 1918 after the Great War, primarily involved in supplying the Traditional Ale Brewers across the UK and this remains the core of our activities alongside our specialist and more modern skills for laser engraving, and finishing.

Importantly all of our timbers are sourced from well managed and sustainable woodlands and forests and are suitable for food use.
WHY ITS GOOD TO USE OUR PRODUCTS.
Our timber and cork products of course remain a natural product, and as such can be easily recycled without having to be specially collected, or taken to land fill, and are produced to the most environmentally efficient processes to reduce carbon footprints and with minimal waste.
Timber remains the only renewable resource we have. With proper management of our woodlands it is not a finite resource like all plastic products . As founder members of ‘Woodland Heritage’ we remain committed to sourcing from well managed and sustainable woodlands.
