inside case back: 4621 CASED AND TIMED BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO.; 14K GOLD FILLED ROSS; 0050726.  the movement reads; ELGIN 670 ADJ. 21 JEWEL; SN: R346944. inside case there are 5 sets of watchmaker service marks, reflecting an exceptional level of care. this timepiece has been very well care for and was probable worn by a "suit" or as a dress watch and is in exceptional condition both inside and out. this beautiful Lord Elgin hourglass model has been a favorite of mine.
