Our Hard Coating not only defends your lenses from scratches, it also protects any mirror coatings on your particular lenses. Although optical lenses can never be 100% scratch-proof, our coatings help to prevent minor scratches that can easily happen to a regular lens.

Anti-Scratch Coat

Along with our exclusive hard coat, Seek Optics also adds an additional scratch-resistant coating. Anti-Scratch coating is applied to the face of your optical lens. Uv Protection

All Seek lenses and designer sunglasses block 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC rays. The American Optometric Association (AOA) advises that extended exposure to the sun's UV rays without the correct protection may cause eye conditions that can lead to severe vision disorders. Exposure to UV radiation can harm the eyes and other components of solar radiation can also affect vision.

People whose work, or recreational activities, involve prolonged exposure to sunlight are at the greatest risk. UV radiation reflects off surfaces such as snow, water and sand, so the risk is greater for people on beaches, boats or ski slopes. The intensity of UV rays is the highest during the mid-day hours, 10 am - 3 pm, and during the summer.

The hazard of UV rays

It is common knowledge that UV radiation harms the skin, but many people may not know that exposure to UV radiation can damage the eyes or that other components of solar radiation can also affect vision.

If your eyes are exposed to excessive amounts of UV radiation over a short period of time, you are likely to experience an effect called photokeratitis. Like a “sunburn of the eye”, photokeratitis may be painful and include symptoms such as red eyes, a foreign body sensation or gritty feeling in the eyes, extreme sensitivity to light and excessive tearing. Fortunately, this is usually temporary and rarely causes permanent damage to the eyes.

Long-term exposure to UV radiation, however, can be more serious. Scientific studies and research have shown that exposure to small amounts of UV radiation over a period of many years increases the chance of developing a cataract and may cause damage to the retina, a nerve-rich lining of the eye that is used for seeing. Additionally, chronic exposure to shorter wavelength visible light (i.e. blue and violet light) may also be harmful to the retina.

The longer the eyes are exposed to solar radiation, the greater the risk of developing later in life such conditions as cataracts or macular degeneration.

Since it is not clear how much exposure to solar radiation will cause damage, the American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends wearing quality sunglasses that offer UV protection.

Refused or unclaimed merchandise: Customers will incur additional charges if an unclaimed or refused package is sent back to our facility. Customers are responsible for additional shipping fees to reship the package.

FREE RETURNS

PLEASE INSPECT ALL PRODUCTS UPON ARRIVAL.
All items must be returned unused, undamaged, unworn, in resalable and original condition, with all original packaging including cases, manuals, and warranty forms. Incomplete returns, or used products, not in new condition, will be returned to the buyer or assessed additional restocking fees depending on condition and our ability to re-market the returned product. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 7 days of receiving the returned item. All returned items are inspected upon receipt. New shipments are mailed out within 7 days of receiving returned merchandise.


Prescription lenses are not refundable.

Return shipping costs will be reimbursed only if it is our error. Sun and ophthalmic frames must be received by us within 30 days from the date of delivery. Returns should be sent with a traceable shipping method. Buyers are responsible for all shipping charges. Replacement lenses may be returned in original packaging for a refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase.

DAMAGE CLAIMS:
All items must be inspected upon arrival. All damage claims must be reported within 72hrs of delivery, if not, the claim for damaged items will not be accepted. All damaged items will be replaced unless the product is no longer available.

Warranty:
Sun and Ophthalmic frames and lenses come with a 12 or 24 month warranty against manufacturer defects. The length of warranty depends on the manufacturer's policy. In the case of a warranty issue, the item must be returned to Seek Optics and we will manage the repair or replacement of your eyewear. Seek Optics Brand Replacement Lenses: All lenses come with a Lifetime Warranty. *This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Please return the defective item in original packaging for a refund or exchange. Please note, we can not accept returns for product that has been modified or altered.

If you are not fully satisfied with your lenses, please feel free to return your lenses within 60 days of purchase for a full refund.
