Vintage Leather Flask Holder

A beautiful and rare vintage/antique brown leather flask case. With buckle and strap fastenings and a green velvet interior lining to keep your flask or bottle secure. A long adjustable leather strap allows this case to be comfortably held on any persons shoulder. Personalised with the initials V.M.F.

With a lovely patina on the leather this really is a stunning case that will impress all who see it!

Being most likely circa late Edwardian to early 1930's, this would be a perfect accessory for any shooter or hunter to keep their Thermos Flask safe. It would also make a charming wine or whiskey bottle holder for a stylish country home. Also perfect for Gundog, hiking or Equestrian applications.

Condition:

In very good condition for age. This is an old item so there are the expected small surface scuffs, marks, scratches and stains on the leather and velvet lining, however this only adds to its authenticity and rustic charm! The leather really is in fantastic condition with no breakages, splits and all stitching present. As seen in the pictures there is a stain on the bottom of the case which is not too noticable. The straps and buckles are strong and ready to be used. One buckle has corroded slightly but is still working well. The green velvet lining is in great condition with no bald patches, just a slight loose part on the lid which can easily be repaired.

Measurements:

The case is approximately 27.5cm tall with a 10.5cm wide diameter on the lid. The inside can accomodate a flask or bottle with a diameter of up to 8.8cm. Weighing 400g

The item must be collected within 1 week of the auction ending. Contact must be made and payment method confirmed before being collected. Please note that the international postage prices listed are estimates and we reserve the right to request for more or cancel the order if the postage is significantly more expensive. We are happy to accept any of the following forms of payment: PayPal, postal order, cheque or cash on collection. Please contact us if you will be using a payment method other than PayPal. Items cannot be sent until all funds have been cleared. Payment must be received within 3 working days of purchase (unless an alternative method is agreed by ourselves and the buyer) if not cash on collection. We reserve the right to relist the item and open an unpaid item case.
