EARLY CHINESE YIXING ZISHA
SCHOLAR CARVED MOUSE TEAPOT
FROM AN ESTATE COLLECTION
Up for auction is a Rare Early Chinese Yixing Zisha Scholar Carved Mouse Teapot. The teapot condition is good with no chips or cracks but, it has wear marks and rubs in accordance with its age and use (enlarge pictures and look carefully to determine its true condition). The approximate dimensions are 5 1/2" (14cm) inches from the tip of the handle to the end of the spout by 3 1/2" (8.9cm) inches in height to top of the lid and 3 1/2" (8.9cm) inches in diameter. The teapot was recently acquired from the estate collection of a deceased Chinese Doctor from New York City.
