XR-19w is a lightweight yet sturdy rim whose ideal application may vary between inexpensive climbing wheelsets and high mileage training wheels. These niobium alloy rims are equipped with single eyelets for strength, easier assembly and service. The rim surface is polished and black anodized with high quality machined sidewalls. Kinlin rims feature high strength sleeved joints.

Could be considered a more robust version of the XR-200; slightly wider and with eyelets but only 20gms heavier. It deflects slightly less than the 200 and comes into even tension more readily, indicating a stronger wheel.

Kinlin rims are often re-badged and sold as own make on new bikes - look and you'll see them everywhere.

Superbly finished and excellent value, these Kinlin rims build into a very stiff and great looking semi-aero alloy wheel.

Example Build: 2 x XR-19W = 820gms Novatec Superlight road hubs = 288gms Sapim CX Ray Spokes x 44 + polyax nipples = 205gms. Total Weight of wheels ex tape/tyres = Under 1320gms and probably less than £300. Save a few more gms to get under 1300 (but pay a lot more £££'s) and get more durability with Tune MAG 170 and MIG 70 hubs.
