Paintings This is considered normal with old Art & Antiques. I will attempt
to mention significant problems, and always include excellent photographs. You
should rely upon your inspection of the photographs. No representations are
implied about mounts and frames, unless specifically stated, and then they are
just my opinion. Authorship/Authenticity is similarly a matter of opinion. In
the absence of a provenance, even a signed picture may be a forgery. Unless I
have reason to suspect a forgery, which I will then mention, please assume that
authorship is a matter of opinion. The exception would be if I say "guaranteed
genuine" or "by the hand of" You may then accept that the item carries a full
money back guarantee as to its
authenticity. |
