VINTAGE Steiff Bear Leiderhosen Bavarian w/Tags Germany 8M3

Here is a Steiff Bear in wonderful condition. He stands about 11" in height on his heavy wire stand. He has soft tan mohair fur, jointed arms, legs, and head, felt pads, embroidered nose and mouth, and shiny brown eyes.
He wears a red gingham buttoned shirt and gray leiderhosen with green felt trim. He is clean; from a non-smoking environment, and has all the original tags. The ear tag is numbered 0276/28.
The only problems I see are a missing back button on the shorts, and missing paper on the back of the square hangtag: the back page is unreadable.
I believe his manufacture was the late 1980's.
