If you do buy these parts from a third party seller, as in someone that has bought them from me with the sole intention of selling them on, then I guarantee you will be paying far more money than you need too as these people are crooks and only interested in taking you money.

This is my new Type 1 snorkel, and as the old mold had worn out it was ready for injection molding, so decided not to just redo the old version, but went with the latest version that I saw on the special edition land rovers, which looked a bit sleeker.
It now comes with pre threaded holes in the back and M3 bolts for fixing to the wing, and no longer has the flange on the back so it fits vac formed bodies without any fiddling, like removing the old flange, which was a real pain. It also fits the new Team Raffee body with opening doors, bonnet etc, and because in that body there is just a hole in the side of the wing you need to use a spare bit of plastic as a fixing plate to hold it in place.
The pictured version has been painted black, but there is very little clean up work to do, just a slight mold join line, and it took me less than five minutes to clean and sand then paint.
